By the amount of publicity and media coverage that Tim Tebeow is getting, you would never guess that he was the 25th pick in the 2010 NFL draft. TheDenver Broncos drafted Tim Tebow last night as the 25th pick in the first round of the draft. And ever since that moment, the media has been full throttle with Tim Tebow coverage.
Perhaps the best story so far, to me anyway, is theTim Tebow Broncos Jersey. There has yet to be an “official” Tim Tebow jersey released, but there are certainly ways to acquire a Tim Tebow Broncos Jersey here.
I found this great article on SBNation.com that had a photoshop’d image of what a Tim Tebow Denver Broncos jersey could possibly look like if he kept his #15 that he had as a quarterback in Florida. The ironic part of this is who previously held No. 15 for the Broncos — Brandon Marshall. I have a feeling Josh McDaniels will like this No. 15 a lot better than the last one.
White House Police Detail Bars Media from Covering Gay Veteran Protest
Six gay military veterans gathered in Lafayette Park, a venue near the White House that has been the scene of protests for decades. The gay vets were protesting the “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” policy first enacted by
President Clinton. “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” stipulates that gay military personnel can serve if they keep quiet about their orientation. In return the military would not actively investigate gay soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines. Many people believe this policy to be unfair and discriminatory. In the video below we see a police detail assigned to the White House barring members of the media from covering the protest, an unprecedented move
Ubaldo Jimenez pitched the first no-hitter in the Colorado Rockies’ 18-year history — and the first in the major leagues this season — dominating the Atlanta Braves in a 4-0 victory Saturday night.
Jimenez (3-0) walked six — all in the first five innings. He was helped by Dexter Fowler’s diving catch in left-center field in the seventh inning. Jimenez was at his best in the final innings, reaching the high 90s with his fastball right up until the final batter.
This only the 264th time in Baseball’s 135 year history a No Hitter has ever been recorded and the 1st time in Rockies Franchise history, Mets, Padres and Rays Fans keep holding your breath…
After flyers were circulated at yesterday’s Tea Party at the capitol claiming Sarah Palin, Hugh Hewitt, and Dennis Prager would be at D.U.’s Magness Arena on May 22nd, Doubts were raised regarding the authenticity of such a program. RyansRight.com has learned today that tickets are in fact on sale via Ticketmaster $37 thru $85 for Reserved Floor Seats the event is titled “An Evening with Sarah Palin.”. There may be a slight scheduling conflict for some GOP State Assembly Delegates and Alternates being that both events are on the same date.
