White House Police Detail Bars Media from Covering Gay Veteran Protest

Six gay military veterans gathered in Lafayette Park, a venue near the White House that has been the scene of protests for decades. The gay vets were protesting the “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” policy first enacted by

President Clinton. “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” stipulates that gay military personnel can serve if they keep quiet about their orientation. In return the military would not actively investigate gay soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines. Many people believe this policy to be unfair and discriminatory. In the video below we see a police detail assigned to the White House barring members of the media from covering the protest, an unprecedented move

CONFIRMED: Palin in CO on 5/22

April 16th, 2010 No comments

After flyers were circulated at yesterday’s Tea Party at the capitol claiming Sarah Palin, Hugh Hewitt, and Dennis Prager would be at D.U.’s Magness Arena on May 22nd, Doubts were raised regarding the authenticity of such a program. RyansRight.com has learned today that tickets are in fact on sale via Ticketmaster $37 thru $85 for Reserved Floor Seats the event is titled “An Evening with Sarah Palin.”. There may be a slight scheduling conflict for some GOP State Assembly Delegates and Alternates being that both events are on the same date.
